- Area = pi r^2 = 22/7 x 10.5 x 10.5 = 346.5 sq cm.
- Diameter = 28 cm, so circumference = pi d = 22/7 x 28 = 88 cm.
- Sector area = 90/360 x 22/7 x 14 x 14 = 154 sq cm.
- Arc length = 60/360 x 2 x 22/7 x 21 = 22 cm.
- Area of semicircle = 1/2 x 22/7 x 7 x 7 = 77 sq cm.
- Area of quadrant = 1/4 x 22/7 x 14 x 14 = 154 sq cm.
- Sector area = 120/360 x pi x 12 x 12 = 48 pi sq cm.
- Fencing length = circumference = 2 x 22/7 x 35 = 220 m. Cost = 220 x 20 = Rs. 4400.
- Area of ring = pi(14^2 - 7^2) = 22/7 x 147 = 462 sq cm.
- Area left = square area - circle area = 196 - 154 = 42 sq cm.
How to use this worksheet
